How I Cleared My Skin

This is something I could talk a while about so I found it to be a good first topic on my Youtube channel. It’s a new channel and it’s my first video, so I invite everyone to watch and see if you pick up any tips or ideas on clearing your skin or just keeping it in good health.

I’ll break it down into just a few short sections for this post and the rest in detail is in the video.

DIET: Foods that aggravate your system aggravate your skin. It doesn’t always mean foods that are high in fat, sugar or salt. Mainly it’s foods that are full of things that aren’t real and aren’t recognized by your body. There’s nothing wrong with eating butter or real sugar! Investigate to see if you have any intolerances/allergies and DO NOT GIVE UP, if you think something is bothering you, you’re probably right.

CHEMICALS: Overwhelming your skin is going to leave it with nothing to do but react intensely and possibly do a few things at once (drying out & breaking out, peeling & getting oily) Take it easy. Don’t treat your skin as harshly as it reacts.

LIFESTYLE: Stress is a big problem. It’s unlikely you’ll be able to rid yourself of it overnight, but do what you can to minimize it as best as possible.

MAKEUP: Even if you think that you’re makeup isn’t clogging your pores try to wear less than you normally would or not wear any on days you don’t need to. I found that the less foundation I wore the less I needed.

PATIENCE: This can be a long process. Whether you’re looking for something to finally clear any last bumps or turning the quality of your skin completely around. It may take time, but if you’re willing to keep trying the results will be more than worth it.

As you can see by the thumbnail of the video I had a couple different things going on in different areas of my face. It was painful and unpleasant to say the least, but everything mentioned in the video was what I did and is advice I’d give to anyone looking to get their skin in check.

  1. Your skin looks great and that’s awesome you were able to address your acne triggers. Many people always talk about avoiding sugars, dairy, or whatever that leads them to clearer skin, but I’m glad your body seems to not be sensitive to those things (which are “good” to a certain degree) so you can still enjoy them. Anyway, happy for you!

    1. Thank you so much! Actually I cut out dairy , but I found I don’t eat enough butter that it’s a problem. Everything else like yogurt and milk I don’t eat. But I think as long as it’s real, it’s fine.
